Membership

Categories of membership:

Regular Membership: regular members shall attend meetings and pay dues as provided for under paragraph D of this Article, and be eligible to vote and hold office

Honorary Membership: The society may confer honorary membership on persons who are deemed by the general Assembly to have made an outstanding contribution to the progress of the society, or to any of the objectives, goals or purposes, which the society upholds. Honorary members will be required to pay dues, and attend meetings and participate in the society�s activities.

 New Members: The Executive Committee shall decide on the eligibility and dues payable on a case-to-case basis.

Membership Dues: 

A

         1)      $120 per family

         2)      $50 for non- family (singles)

         3)      $10 for students

Termination Of Membership:

1.      Membership in the society is deemed to have terminated on the date of the General Assembly votes for termination.

2.      The General Assembly, on recommendations by the Executive Committee, may dismiss any member from the society on any of the following grounds:

a.       If a member obstructs the activities of the society by acting, willfully and expressly, in a manner that contradicts the objectives of the society.

b.      If a member, after having been duly notified that his duties are in arrears for three months fails, within a period of one month, to pay the said dues.
